Robert Eugene “Little Bobby” Weaver IV, 11, of Burlington passed away Wednesday, May 14, 2025 from natural causes.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 19, 2025 at Lighthouse Funeral & Cremation, 1276 Tate Trail, Union City, MI with Pastor Jon Wallace from the Burlington Church of God officiating. Following the service, Little Bobby will be cremated and will be interred at Burlington Cemetery at a later date.
A visitation will be held Sunday, May 18, 2025 from 3:00-7:00 p.m., also at the Lighthouse in Union City.
Bobby was born August 23, 2013 in Kalamazoo, Michigan to Robert E. and Larissa N. (Goodman) Weaver III. He lived his short life in Burlington with his loving, caring family. He enjoyed the simple pleasures of life here on earth, like having his head scratched by his Papa, watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and the movie Frozen, listening to his favorite song, “Achy Breaky Heart”, and savoring the taste of grape jelly on his tongue; even though he was never really able to enjoy a meal because of his medical condition.
He touched many hearts during his eleven years and will never be forgotten.
Left to cherish Bobby’s memory are his parents; his siblings, Laila Smith of Burlington, Zachary Smith of Homer, Patience Weaver of Burlington, Josilynn Weaver and Abigail Weaver, both of Burlington, and a baby brother, Bodhi, on the way; his grandparents, Robert and Julie Weaver, Jr. of Union City, Deanna (Jamie Rockwell) Burrows of Homer, Vern E. (Kimberly) Goodman of Nashville, MI; his little niece, Hazel Weaver of Burlington; his paternal great-grandmother, Sue Bess of Battle Creek; his maternal great-grandparents, Sally and Duane Sheldon of Battle Creek, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Little Bobby was preceded in death by his paternal great-grandparents, William and Donna Goodrich, and Guy Bess; and his maternal great-grandparents, Alice Kendall-Burrows, Robert Burrows, and Vern C. Goodman.
