Linda Kay Lambert Hodge, 76, of Angola passed away Friday, May 16, 2025 at Northern Lakes Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Angola.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 20, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at the Eagle Funeral Home-George White Chapel in Reading with Rev. Alan Fenstermaker officiating.
Visitation will be Monday, May 19 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Private family interment will take place at a later date at Cambria Cemetery #2.
She was born July 25, 1948 in Hillsdale to Burt LeRoy and Margaret (Allen) Girdham. She married Roger Lambert February 23, 2009
Linda graduated from Reading High School, Class of 1967. For many years, she worked as a caregiver at the Heritage Home in Reading and also helped transport Amish families with her husband, Roger.
She loved playing BINGO, traveling and spending time with her grandchildren. She had a kind and generous heart, and was known as a mother to many individuals, beyond her own family.
Survivors include her husband, Roger; children, Beth Ann (Ken) Anspaugh of Pittsford, David Hodge of Coldwater, Jamie (Marlene) Hodge of Hillsdale, Amy Tidwell of Crossville, TN, Jason (Kylie) Lambert of Coldwater and Jimmy Potter of Lansing; grandchildren, Brookelyn, Sam, Madison, Emma, Kallie, and Rose, Ashton, Travis and Jade; great-grandchildren, Dillan, Alex, Samantha Jo, Aurora, Bella, and one more on the way, Hudson; former husband, Dan Hodge of Athens, TN; and brothers, Bob, Ronnie and George Girdham.
She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Betty (Bill) Hamilton, Rose (Leo) Jackson, Donald “Mike” (June) Girdham and Jim Girdham; grandson, Jonathan; and great-grandchild, Remy.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Alzheimer’s Association or American Cancer Society.
