Peggy A. May, 90, of Coldwater passed away Thursday, May 15, 2025 at the Hillsdale County Medical Care Facility.
There will be no services or calling hours at this time.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Eagle Funeral Home-George White Chapel in Quincy.
She was born April 21, 1935, in Coldwater to Howard and Mabel (Mock) Pitcher. She married Donald Richard May June 6, 1953, and he preceded her in death in 2016.
Peggy graduated from Coldwater High School, Class of 1953. She was formerly employed at Quality Springs and Theodore Bargman in Coldwater. Peggy was also known for assisting her husband, Don in their firearms store, May’s Gun Shop.
In retirement, she loved bird watching and traveling with her husband, especially to Colorado.
Survivors include two children, Vicki May and Donald (Vicky) May, both of Coldwater; brother, Leonard Pitcher of Florida; and grandchildren, Katie Bontrager and Kari Sager.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald; daughter, Katherine May; and sister-in-law, Emily Pitcher.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Humane Society of Branch County.
