Dorothy Ann Woods, 87, of Coldwater passed away Friday, May 16, 2025 at her home in Coldwater.
Cremation has taken place. There will be no services held at this time.
All arrangements are being cared for by Dutcher Funeral Home.
Dorothy was born on September 20, 1937, in Chicago, IL to William A. and Agnes M. (Rinfleich) Sparks. She later got her master’s degree in social work. 10 years later, she became an R.N. and worked until she was 80 years old as a nurse.
Dorothy was a member of St. Charles Borromeo in Coldwater, the Red Hat Ladies Society and a bowler. She was an avid raccoon hunter. Dorothy loved to take care of others, nothing meant more to her than being able to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Dorothy is survived by her children Cheryl Ann Hoffman; Mike Sparks; Kevin Bronson; Lynn Bronson; her 7 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; and many other loving family members.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents William & Agnes Sparks; 2 husbands August G. Pittlekow and James E. Woods; her son Terry Lee Sparks; her siblings June Marie Morin; Virginia Ann Hopkins; Carol Ann Sparks; William Anthony Sparks Sr.; and her 2 grandsons Michael and Brandon.
