Monica Sue Hinsdale, 63, of Coldwater passed away Saturday, May 17, 2025 at Insight Hospital and Medical Center Coldwater.
A funeral service will be held Thursday, May 22, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater. Interment will follow the service at Oak Grove Cemetery in Coldwater.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 21, 2025 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
She was born April 28, 1962 to Larry and Judy (Taylor) Hinsdale in Angola, IN.
Out of her passion for the culinary arts, Monica was a dedicated and talented baker within both Meijer and Kroger’s bakeries.
She found her joys in birdwatching, gardening, crafting, and Hallmark movies; but above all else, Monica loved and cherished her family, especially her grandchildren.
She will be dearly missed as a beloved daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to many.
Monica leaves behind her mother Judy Foster of Coldwater; her children Melinda (Paul Bettinson) Cafarelli, Duane (MakaylaAnne) Mundy both of Coldwater; her siblings Linda (Greg) Kochendorfer of Coldwater, Jamie Thomet of TN; her grandchildren Ansley Cafarelli and Landrew Mundy; her many loving nieces, nephews, and her two great nieces and the fathers of her children.
She was preceded in death by her father and her son Gregory Vickery Jr.
Memorial donations are suggested to the Shriner’s Children’s Hospital.
