Dale Howay, 90, of Coldwater passed away Friday, June 6, 2025 at Drew’s Place in Coldwater.
Cremation has taken place. Interment will be held Thursday, June 26, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Fort Custer National Cemetery in Augusta, MI.
Arrangements are being handled by Dutcher Funeral Home.
Dale was born October 16, 1934 to Earl and Ester (Saull) Howay in Marshall, MI. He married Dorothy “Sally” Willis November 19, 1960 in Elyria, OH. She preceded him in death in January 1997.
Dale enlisted in the United States Coast Guard in November of 1956. After his honorable discharge from the military in 1960, Dale began his career at Kellogg’s in Battle Creek as a storekeeper. After over 25 years of hard work and dedication to Kellogg, he retired.
Dale is survived by his children Colleen (Frank) Morrison of Coldwater, Todd Howay of Royal Oak; four grandsons; Justen Barrus, Jourdan Weage, Devin Morrison, and four great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his siblings Joyce Carver, Keith Howay, and Delos Howay.
