COLDWATER, MI (WTVB)- A Coldwater man died early Monday morning, the result of an apparent fatal gunshot wound.
Coldwater Police were called to a residence on N. Fremont Street at 2:22 this morning, in reference to a shooting. Upon arrival, officers found 63 year old Gordon Miracle, , deceased in the home. The other residents in the home were unharmed.
According to Joseph Scheid, Public Safety Director for the City of Coldwater, police do not believe there is any ongoing threat to the public, though officers remained on scene this morning to complete their investigation.
Coldwater Police were assisted on scene by the Michigan State Police, The Branch
County Sheriff’s Department, and the Sheriff’s Victim Services Unit.
