COLDWATER, MI (WTVB)- Paul Jakubczak, Director of Utilities for the Coldwater Board of Public Utilities (CBPU) and AMP Board of Trustees Member, has been re-elected to three-year terms on the American Public Power Association (APPA) Board of Directors, and will continue to represent Region 2.
APPA membership voted on Board assignments during the APPA National Conference, which took place June 6-11.
Jakubczak has served with the CBPU since 2022 and has more than 26 years of experience in utility operations and municipal government work. Prior to joining the CBPU, he served as Director of Electric and Gas Systems for Fort Pierce Utilities Authority and as Director of Enterprise Services for the City of Gastonia. He holds a Master of Business Administration from Ashford University, a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology and is a Professional Engineer in the state of Florida. He currently serves as a member of the AMP Board of Trustees.
Region 2 of the APPA membership footprint includes Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio and Wisconsin.
APPA is the service organization for the nation’s more than 2,000 community-owned electric utilities that serve more than 49 million Americans.
