COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The annual Pedal Across Lower Michigan bike tour is scheduled to make a stop in Coldwater on Tuesday.
City Finance Director Tom Eldridge, who was filling in for City Manager Keith Baker during Monday night’s City Council meeting, says between 500 and 600 bicyclists are taking part.
The 42nd annual bike tour started this past Sunday in Stevensville. It has already been to Dowagiac and Sturgis.
After its visit to Coldwater, it will make stops in Addison and Dundee before concluding on Friday in Luna Pier.
Pedal Across Lower Michigan is a non-profit group that was established in 1982. It’s dedicated to encouraging family bicycling and the promotion of bicycling safety.
