COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – There will be no immediate relief from the heat that overtook the area over the weekend.
The National Weather Service says the Extreme Heat Warning will remain in effect until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday as heat index values will again today range between 100 and 105 degrees.
A more than centaury old high temperature record could be within reach this afternoon. The record high for Coldwater on June 23 is 95 degrees set all the way back in 1911. Today’s forecasted high is 94 degrees.
