Walsh proposes new Branch County budget process to Commissioners

COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Branch County Administrator Frank Walsh wants to make some changes to the county’s budget process this year.

He told the Branch County Board of Commissioners Tuesday he will present a schedule to them during their work session July 10.

Walsh said there will be two weeks of meetings with department heads and elected officials.

In the past, the county budget was formally adopted by the Commissioners during their final formal meeting of the year in December.
