QUINCY, MI (WTVB) – The Quincy Board of Education will hold a special meeting this evening with one item on the agenda, the hiring of a new superintendent.
Last week after a search that ultimately led to the interviewing of four candidates and the eventually narrowing the list down to two, the board made the decision to hire John Denney as the districts new superintendent.
The two sides entered into contact negotiations late last week, and tonight the hiring will become official. Denney come to Quincy after serving in the same role at Hanover- Horton Schools for nearly twelve years.
Tonight’s meeting is scheduled for 6:30 in the administration office.
