BRANCH COUNTY, MI (WTVB) – The Branch County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating a stolen farm truck and identifying the individual(s) responsible for its theft.
Tuesday morning, deputies responded to a report of a stolen vehicle from Lazy Acres Farms, located at 844 Dutch School Road. The owner reported last seeing the truck parked in his yard at approximately 12:00 a.m. When he went outside this morning, he discovered the vehicle was missing. All farm workers were contacted and confirmed they did not take the truck, and no one was given permission to use it.

The stolen vehicle is described as a 2014 Ford F-150, gray in color, bearing Michigan farm plate BD39357. It has “FX4” decals on the bed sides and “Lazy Acres Farms” white decals on both front doors. The truck also has a black fuel tank in the bed and two aluminum diamond-plated toolboxes on each bed side, making it very recognizable.
At the time of the theft, DeWalt and Milwaukee tools were inside the vehicle.
Video surveillance shows the truck leaving the property at approximately 3:00 a.m. this morning.
The vehicle has been entered as stolen, and a Be On the (BOL) alert has been issued.
