COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – State Representative Jennifer Wortz along with State Senator Jonathon Lindsey and 5th District Congressman Tim Walberg will be in Coldwater Tuesday morning as part of the monthly Coffee, Conversation, and Community at the Hope Cafe.
Wortz and Lindsey will share the latest updates from the Statehouse in Lansing as well as talk to and address concerns of their constituents in Branch County. Meanwhile 5th District Congressman Tim Walberg will be making his first in person public appearance in his district since voting in favor of President Trumps Big Beautiful Bill last week.
The event will take place from 8-9 a.m., and is free to attend and open to the public. Free coffee and cold drinks will also be available for all attendees. Coffee Conversation, and Community is sponsored by The Branch County Association of Realtors and the Coldwater Area Chamber of Commerce.
Both branches of state government are on recess this week after failing to reach an agreement on a new school funding budget by the July 1st deadline.
