COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – A 20-year-old Branch County man is facing multiple felony charges after being arrested by the Branch County Sheriff’s Department.
Jayden Lee Post is charged one count of first degree criminal sexual conduct, one count of 2nd degree criminal sexual conduct and one count of third degree criminal sexual conduct for allegedly abusing a 14-year-old girl at a home in Bronson Township.
The incident in question was reported to the Sheriff’s Department in May 2025.
The girl described to investigators at least two separate occasions she was allegedly inappropriately touched by Post.
Post made an initial court appearance Thursday before Branch County District Judge Brent Weigle and had his bond set at $100,000.
Post will be back in court for a probable cause hearing July 24, with a preliminary exam July 31.
The first-degree charge is a life offense, and the other two charges are 15-year felonies.
