COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater Police Departmemt is reminding residence to to be alarmed if they see a large law enforcement presence around Coldwater High School this week.
The department and several other Branch County agencies along with the FBI will be engaging in active shooter training.
Coldwater Public Safety Director Joe Shied says active shooting training has evolved over the years to incorporate lessons learned from school shootings around the country.
That training will begin this morning and run through Thursday.
