STURGIS, MI (WTVB) – A man is behind bars after a standoff Tuesday evening in Sturgis.
Police were called to a home on West Jerolene Street around 7:30 p.m. for a domestic battery that eventually turned into a barricaded gunman situation.
The man ran from the home before officers could create a perimeter. He was later arrested without further incident on West Main Street and taken to the St. Joseph County Jail where he faces multiple felony charges.
