COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – After more than three decades of service to the citizens of Branch County Detective Sargant David Fillmore has retired from the Sheriffs Office.
Filmore served in nearly every capacity in the department during his 32 year career, including EMT, dispatch, road patrol and drone pilot to criminal investigations. Sheriff Fred Blankenship in a department Facebook post said of Filmore “His unwavering commitment to justice, unwavering integrity and deep care for the people of Branch County have left a lasting impact on this office and the community”.
The department celebrated Filmore’s retirement on Thursday.
