COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – A Coldwater man was sentenced to 48 months to 18 years in prison this week after pleading no contest to meth charges in May and then failing to appear for sentencing in June.
40-year-old Joseph Hudson was sentenced by Branch County Circuit Judge Bill O’Grady on meth possession charges stemming from his arrest in June 2024.
After reaching a plea deal at a hearing in May, Hudson failed to appear in court for his original sentencing date June 11,and had to be located by sheriff’s deputies and returned to custody.
