COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – When Coldwater Community Schools Superintendent Paul Flynn came to the district, one of his main goals was to emphasize the importance of literacy throughout the district especially at the lower grade levels.
As students get set to head back to the classrooms next week, Flynn says that remains a major priority.
Flynn also says with a rising number of minority students, it is important in the early grades to set a strong foundation in not only reading but also learning the language.
The first day of school is Monday.
