COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – A Coldwater marijuana dispensary has been fined by the Michigan Cannabis Regulatory Agency for inventory tracking violations.
Exclusive Coldwater, was fined $15,500 following CRA investigation stemming from a 2023 complaint that the store was selling untagged marijuana products and trade samples they had received from suppliers.
During an inspection in January of 2024 regulators discovers the presence of several untagged items behind the sales counter, along with 90 items that were trade samples that were incorrectly logged in as items that were sold.
Exclusive has agreed to pay the $15,500 fine as well as implement retraining for employees and no longer accept trade samples from it’s vendors.
The CRA released their findings this week.
