STURGIS, MI (WTVB) – A Sturgis mother has entered a plea deal in the death of her 2-year-old daughter.
Court records show 21-year-old Paige Bohne has plead no contest to first degree child abuse and assault with intent to do bodily harm, in exchange charges of murder and conspiracy to commit child abuse were dropped by prosecutors.
Police were called to Bohne’s home at Memory Lane Trailer Park last November for the unresponsive child. The little girl was pronounced dead at the scene.
Bohne is scheduled to be sentenced next week.
