COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Gas prices in Michigan have shot up by 18 cents a gallon on average in the past week. Triple-A Michigan says the average price is now $3.30 per gallon statewide. Gas prices in Branch County today are below the state average at around $3.24 per gallon but that is still significantly higher then a week ago when we were paying $3.09 a gallon. Analyst are predicting pump prices even though higher this week should stay below the $3.33 per gallon average Michiganders were paying at at the pump heading into the 2024 Labor Day weekend.
