PARCHMENT, MI (WTVB) – Union City turned a 6-0 halftime deficit into a 16-14 road win at Parchment Thursday night.
The Panthers opened the scoring with a pair of field goals in the first half. The Chargers got on the board late in the third quarter on a Braxton Miller TD pass to Liam Payne and a two-point conversion run by Tray McDonald. After Parchment responded with a score early in the fourth, Union City went ahead for good as Miller scored on 4th and goal from the 1 and ran in the two-point conversion.
The Chargers open up Big 8 play next Friday at Maple Valley.
