COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – September signals the beginning of fall festival season, and a brand new event is scheduled for this weekend in downtown Coldwater.
The inaugural Hispanic Heritage Festival will take place on South Monroe Street to help celebrate Hispanic Heritage month.
Carmen Cardenas says there will be several activities that will feature the Hispanic culture including entertainment, and what would a fall festival be without food.
Cardenas says the Hispanic Heritage Coalition hopes to grow the event to be even bigger in coming years with a goal of assisting youth in going to college
The festival will run from 3-9 p.m. on South Monroe.
