COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater City Council approved the purchase of two 2025 Ford Maverick Hybrid vehicles for a total price of just over $59,600 on Monday night.
Deputy Police Chief Pat Beeman said the vehicles will be outfitted and assigned to the two school resource officers for daily use.
The two police vehicles were included in this year’s budget. Public Safety Director Joe Scheid says while that vehicles are not pursuit-rated or designed for patrol use, they will be available for parades and special details as needed by regular patrol staff.
