BRONSON TOWNSHIP, MI (WTVB) – Bronson firefighters were called out overnight for a structure fire on Holmes Road.
Bronson Fire Chief Scott Wilber says flames were showing from the single wide mobile home when the first crews arrived just after midnight. Wilber says with mutual aid from Burr Oak they were able to quicky put the fire out using approximately 5,000 gallons of water.
There were no injuries but Wilber says the family dog did die blaze.
Damage was estimated at around $15,000 and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
