COLDWATER, MI -(WTVB) The first of two fall brush pickups in Coldwater will be next Monday October 6th.
The city is offering tips for pick up day including having all brush to be picked up out by 8 a.m. on the morning of the pickup date, place brush on the curb with the cut end facing the street, no root systems are allowed, and brush should be no larger than 8 inches diameter.
Residents are also asked to keep brush out of the streets, driveways, around sign posts, power poles or other trees.
Any brush set out after crews have passed by will not be picked up. Residents who miss brush pickup still have the opportunity to discard it at no-cost at the compost site located at 45 Industrial Ave. The compost site is now open daily year-round from dawn to dusk.
A second fall brush pick up will take place on November 3rd.
