EAST LANSING, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater varsity girls golf team participated in a pre-regional tune-up Thursday at MSU’s Forest Akers East Golf Course, the site of MHSAA Regionals next Monday in Division 2 for Coldwater and next Wednesday in Division 3 for the rest of the field. The Cardinals finished seventh with a team score of 422. Harper Creek, the Interstate 8 champions, won with their team score of 374.
McKinley Earles led the way for Coldwater with her round of 98; Harper Anglin was right behind with a 99. Alivia Arnold shot a 105, and Payton Longstreet fired a round of 120.

COLDWATER, MI – Coldwater also hosted the Southern Michigan Girls JV Championship at the Coldwater Golf Course Thursday. The host Cardinals finished eighth with their score of 471. Sturgis won the championship with their score of 387.
Etta Machan had the low round for Coldwater with her 108. Kenna Niedzwiecki fired a 110, Alana Houtz had a 118, and Etta Machan shot a 135.
