QUINCY TOWNSHIP, MI (WTVB) – A Litchfield man remains hospitalized following a Sunday accident in Quincy Township.
Deputies from the Branch County Sheriff’s Office responded to a reported crash involving a semi-truck and a passenger vehicle at the intersection of Jonesville Road and Fiske Road.
The preliminary investigation indicates that a semi-truck driven by a 57-year-old woman from Florida was traveling northbound when it failed to stop and was struck by a westbound Honda CR-V driven by a 43-year-old man from Litchfield.
The driver of the Honda sustained serious injuries and was transported to Borgess Hospital for treatment.
Deputies were assisted at the scene by the Coldwater Fire Department, Lifecare Ambulance, Coldwater Towing, and Arnies Towing.
