BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – With the departure of several officers recently and facing a staffing shortage, the Bronson Police Department is holding A Hiring Event and Open House Wednesday from 3 -7 p.m. for both certified police officers and those interested in perusing a career in law enforcement.
Police Chief Stephen Johnson says the department is looking to fill multiple full-time and part-time positions and this is an opportunity for prospective candidates to meet with current officers, learn about open positions, and ask questions about a career in law enforcement.
Johnson says a sponsorship for the police academy is potentially available for the right candidate.
