UNION CITY, MI (WTVB) – In girls voleyball, Union City earned a 25-17, 25-20, 25-7 victory against Reading Tuesday at the McNett Fieldhouse on Senior Night for the Chargers.
Before the varsity match, seniors Lilly Eyre and Ambrielle Phelps were honored. Phelps also set a couple of career milestones, nothing her 1,000th dig and 1,000th assist.
Union City improved to 14-12 overall, 2-3 in the Big 8, and will host Hanover-Horton and St. Johns for a tri-match Thursday.
STOCKBRIDGE, MI – Bronson improved to 21-9-6 overall and a perfect 5-0 in the Big 8 as they swept to victory at Stockbridge 25-15, 25-17, 25-8.
The Vikings will host Athens, Marshall, and Parma Western for a quad Thursday.
VERMONTVILLE, MI – Quincy improved to 11-7-3 overall and 4-1 in the Big 8 as they won at Maple Valley 25-18, 25-11, 25-16.
The Orioles will host a quad Thursday with Addison, Climax-Scotts, and Colon.
