COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – As the Coldwater Community Schools consider placing a potential bond issue on the May 2026 ballot, the process has reached the point where the district is ready to share the direction they are headed and seek input from residence.
Superintendent Paul Flynn says they have been working to get the process to where they are ready to bring it to the community. There will be two meetings this week in the media room at Coldwater High School on Tuesday and Thursday with opportunities both nights to do a walk through
Flynn says some of the top priorities include a new roof, air conditioning and making classrooms ADA compliant among others. He says the meetings this week will be a chance for residence to hear the plans as they stand now as well as offer suggestions
Flynn stressed no decisions have been made at the amount of a potential bond has not been determined.
The last time Coldwater Schools had a proposed bond issue on the ballot was 2022 and it was rejected by voters.
