COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – As Veterans Day approaches next month, Brach County Veterans and family members will want to mark their calendars for a special Coffee, Conversation and Community information session at the Hope Cafe.
Veterans and local residents are invited to honor the community’s veterans and learn about the resources available to them in Branch County. The event, “Coffee Hour,
Honoring Our Veterans,” will be held on Tuesday, November 4, from 8:00 to 9:00 a.m. at Hope Cafe in downtown Coldwater.
The morning will feature presentations from several key leaders in Branch County’s veterans’ support network. Attendees will also hear directly from the individuals who work to provide vital programs, benefits, and support for those who have served.
Featured speakers will include:
- Nick Easterling: Branch County Veterans Affairs Director
- Jim Peters: Coldwater American Legion Honor Guard
- Debbie Wilkinson: Quincy American Legion Auxiliary
- Nancy Morrell: Branch County Veterans Footlocker
This Coffee Hour is an opportunity for community members to express their gratitude and learn how to better support the veterans and their families in their neighborhoods.
It also serves as a chance for veterans themselves to connect with local leaders and discover the services available to them, including emergency assistance and help with claims.
Organizers say they are hoping for a large turnout for what promises to be a meaningful morning of community connection, information, and gratitude.
