CONCORD, MI (WTVB) – The Bronson Vikings remain undefeated in Big 8 play after a 25-21, 25-15, 16-25, 25-16 win at Concord Tuesday night.
The Vikings, a Division 3 honorable mention in the latest Michigan Interscholastic Volleyball Coaches Association poll, improved to 22-11-6 overall and 6-0 in the Big 8. They will be at the Mattawan Invitational on Saturday.
READING, MI – Quincy improved to 15-6-3 overall and 5-1 in the Big 8, one game behind Bronson, after earning a 3-0 victory at Reading.
Ashlyn Fickle had 15 kills, 9 assists, and 6 digs, while Laura Bostic had 7 kills, 3 blocks, and 2 aces. Kyha Brewer had 5 kills, 4 aces, 11 assists, and 8 digs, and olivia Davenport had a team-high 17 digs.
STOCKBRIDGE, MI – Union City improved to 16-15-2 overall and 3-3 in the Big 8 as they defeated Stockbridge on the road 25-13, 25-16, 25-23.
The Chargers and Orioles will be at Jonesville’s “Think Pink” Invitational on Saturday.
