QUINCY, MI (WTVB) – Quincy Community Schools is seeking public input to help prioritize upcoming facility needs. The district is inviting staff, families, and community members to a Community Forum on Monday, Oct. 27, to discuss potential improvements.
The forum will be held at 6:00 p.m. in the Quincy Middle School Cafeteria. Attendees will hear a brief presentation, share their feedback, and have the option to tour school buildings.
The district has outlined three primary areas of focus for its facility priorities: Improving safety and security, addressing aging facilities and providing modern learning spaces.
Superintendent John Denney says ” This initiative is a direct extension of the district’s mission to provide a safe, nurturing learning environment where children can achieve their maximum individual potential and that ensuring safe and well-maintained facilities is crucial for students to thrive”.
In an informative letter the district emphasizes its commitment to transparency and responsible management of taxpayer money. Community feedback is viewed as vital to making informed decisions that reflect the needs and priorities of the entire community.
