UNDATED (WTVB) – Football teams from the Southwest 10 Conference went 5-2 against their counterparts from the Big 8 Conference in the first edition of their regular season-ending crossover series Friday night.
Big 8 champion Springport scored early in the second quarter as they held off visiting Bronson in a close defensive battle 7-0, while Quincy lost to visiting Hartford 35-12.
Elsewhere, Harper Creek won the outright Interstate 8 title with their 48-16 win at Jackson Northwest.
