QUINCY, MI (WTVB) – Quincy Community Schools are set to hold a public forum tonight to discuss potential renovation plans and gather community feedback.
According to Superintendent John Denney the renovations would focus in large part on the middle school that was built in 1931, and and not seen a major renovation since, the plan would also call for upgrades to the elementary school as well as some work at the high school. Denney is encouraging the community to attend tonight and take a tour.
Denney says the total cost of the potential renovations could approach $60 million dollars, and before they proceed to the next step of preparing a bond issue for the May ballot they want community feed back
Tonight’s forum is set for 6:00 p.m. in the Middle School Cafeteria.
