COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The City of Coldwater and the Coldwater Board of Public Utilities (CBPU) are participating in Operation Green Light from November 4 to 11 to honor veterans.
The initiative encourages residents to display green lights at their homes and businesses as a symbol of gratitude and support, with free green light bulbs available at City Hall while supplies last. Residents are also encouraged to learn about local veteran services and thank veterans they know.
According to Monica McCowan of the CBPU, displaying a green light is a powerful way to show veterans they are seen and supported. Community members can share photos of their participation using #OperationGreenLight to help spread awareness.
