CENTREVILLE, MI (WTVB) – Aleah Brackett’s 31 kills set the pace offensively for the Bronson Vikings as they defeated Constantine 16-25, 25-18, 25-17, 25-15 in an MHSAA Division 3 Girls Volleyball Regional Semifinal contest Tuesday at Centreville High School.
Brackett also had 18 digs and recorded 9 assists, while Braylynn Dow added 5 kills, 5 digs, and 5 assists. Roni Bir and Hadley Wagaman each had 21 digs to lead the defense; Wagaman also had 9 assists and served up 2 aces. Itzel Albarran had a team-high 17 assists to go with 11 digs.
The Vikings will take a 29-17-6 record into their Regional Final matchup against Kalamazoo Christian Thursday night at 6 p.m. back at Centreville, with WTVB’s live coverage beginning Thursday at 5:45 p.m. K-Christian advanced with a 25-16, 25-14, 25-7 win against Bangor in Tuesday’s other Regional Semifinal.
