COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater Area Chamber of Commerce is currently seeking nominations for its 72nd Annual Community Awards, the yearly event honors individuals, businesses, and organizations that make significant contributions to the Branch County community.
Community members are encouraged to submit nominations for those who have demonstrated outstanding leadership, dedication, and service. Honorees will be recognized at the annual Awards Dinner, a premiere local gathering that celebrates the “good news” stories of the area.
Nominations are open until January 20, 2026.
Submissions can be made online through the Chamber’s website, emailed, or dropped off at the Chamber office. All nominees must be a resident or represent a business in Branch County.

Each nomination requires a letter of recommendation, with a maximum limit of 750 words, detailing the nominee’s qualifications and specific examples of their achievements.

– Citizen of the Year
-Educator of the Year
-Business of the Year
-Young Professional of the Year
-Outstanding Organization or Community Program
The 72nd Annual Community Awards Dinner is scheduled to take place on March 5, 2026, at the Dearth Community Center.
