COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Area law enforcement agencies are joining forces this week for “Cans for a Cause” to benefit Branch County food pantries.
The Michigan State Police, along with the Coldwater, Bronson and Quincy Police Departments will be at Locally Market, 410 Marshall St, Coldwater this Thursday from 12:00 p.m.-2:00 p.m.
They say items most in need include vegetables, non perishables, shampoo, conditioner, and soap, as well as toothbrushes and toothpaste.
Other items they are looking to collect include bread, crackers and cereal along with peanut butter and jelly.
Officers from each department will be on-hand to accept the donations that will then be distributed to area pantries.
