COLDWATER TOWNSHIP, MI (WTVB) – The Branch County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a suspicious residential fire that occurred Friday, November 21 near the intersection of Bawden Road and Slisher Road.
Deputies responded to the scene at approximately 7:20 p.m.
Preliminary findings from the investigation suggest the fire may have been intentionally set. They say a blue, four-door passenger car was seen in the vicinity shortly before the blaze began.
Investigators are seeking public assistance to help solve the case. Residents and property owners in the area are asked to review any personal or home-security camera footage recorded during that time frame for potential evidence.
