UPDATE: Village officials say the work was completed within five minutes and power has been restored.
UNION CITY, MI (WTVB) – The Village of Union City is reminding residents of a planned power outage for all customers beginning just after midnight tonight (early Sunday morning).
The outage is necessary to perform maintenance on a malfunctioning voltage regulator component.
Officials anticipate the outage will be short but ask residents to plan for up to one hour without power. A second brief outage will be required later for part replacement.
