COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Branch County Sheriff’s Office and the Coldwater Police Department conducted a coordinated operation in the early hours this past Saturday, executing three search warrants across the county as part of an ongoing narcotics investigation.
According to Sheriff Fred Blankenship, the collaborative effort targeted locations in the 400 block of East Chicago Street, the 100 block of Smith Street, and the 100 block of West Colon Road.
The searches led to the seizure of significant evidence, including suspected cocaine, methamphetamine, items consistent with drug distribution, and a firearm.
Several suspects were taken into custody during the operation. Authorities are seeking additional charges related to the seized evidence.
The investigation remains ongoing.
