Marjorie Lou Spells, 89, of Union City passed away Saturday, December 13, 2025, surrounded by her family at Bronson Battle Creek Hospital.
A funeral service will be held Friday, December 19, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. at Lighthouse Funeral & Cremation, 1276 Tate Trail, Union City, MI. Pastor Rob Schwartz will officiate.
A public visitation will be held prior to the funeral, beginning at 11:00 a.m., also at the Lighthouse. A committal service will take place at 1:30 p.m. at Youngs Cemetery, 2119 W. Territorial Road, Battle Creek, MI, also Friday, December 19, 2025.
Marjorie was born February 3, 1936 at Lakeview Hospital in Battle Creek, to Earl and Emily (Weeks) Snyder. Marjorie was a traditional stay-at-home mother, where she loved and nurtured her family. She loved to garden, knit, sew, and spend time with her family.
Marjorie is survived by her children, Teresa Dilno of Clyde, TX, Balinda Wood of Battle Creek, and Brian Spells of Battle Creek; and her grandson, Marshall Dilno.
Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband; her parents, and her brother Donald Snyder.
