COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – As we begin a new work week and enter the Christmas travel week, there is some good news if you are looking to fill up the gas tank before heading out of town.
The average price for a gallon of gas in Michigan is now at $2.73, a drop of 12-cents in the past week. Triple-A Michigan says the price is 43-cents less than last month and down 38-cents compared to Christmas week last year.
Around Branch County the average price is $3.61 per gallon, In Hillsdale County the price has plummeted to an average of $2.29 per gallon while in St Joseph County the average this morning sits at $2.60. Across the state line in Indiana there is a big difference depending on location, Near the outlets pump prices are as low as $2.48 while further south in Angola you’re going to pay over $2.80 per gallon.

Once again we can thank the Greedy fuel stations in Branch county. How can their be any excuse for the higher prices other than greed. Until they align the prices I make it a point to buy out of Branch county.
