Carol V. Tracy, 92, of Coldwater, passed away Wednesday, December 24, 2025 at Medilodge of Marshall.
Cremation has taken place. No services held at this time.
Arrangements are being cared for by Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater.
Carol was born January 28, 1933, in Lansing, MI to William L. Williams and Marian J. McKeage. She attended Central Michigan University, where she received her teaching certificate in 1954.
Carol married William F. Tracy on October 10, 1953, in Lansing. He preceded her in death August 10, 2010.
Carol had a love for teaching, spending many years subbing, teaching handicap students, and teaching parolees how to get jobs. Carol was also the Activities Director at Maple Lawn. She was a member at the Elks Lodge in Coldwater, and the social environment of Marble Lake.
In her free time, she enjoyed reading, and spending time on the lake. In her later years Carol and her husband, Bill, often travelled in their RV, spending much of that time in Tucson, AZ.
Carol is survived by her children Toni (Doug) Hess of Marshall; Tim (Robin) Tracy of Pensacola, FL & Coldwater, daughter in law Maggie Tracy; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; sister-in-law Peggy (Stan) Attenburger; and many loving nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, William, she was preceded in death by her son Thomas Tracy, siblings Beverly Prowant; and Bruce Williams.
