Connie S. Barfell, 72, of Coldwater, Michigan passed away peacefully Sunday, January 4, 2026.
Cremation has taken place. A private burial will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are being cared for by Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater.
Connie was born June 4, 1953 in Coldwater. She dedicated much of her life to caring for those in need, operating an adult foster care home where she provided not only daily support, but also dignity, patience, and heartfelt kindness. Helping others was never just a job to her—it was her calling.
Above all else, Connie truly loved her family. She cherished time spent with them and was known for her open heart, gentle spirit, and willingness to help anyone who needed it.
Connie is survived by her children, Arthur Brazee and Teresa Brazee; her brother, Ron Towers; six grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Bonnie Berry.
Connie will be deeply missed and fondly remembered for her selflessness, her devotion to family, and the quiet yet profound impact she made on the lives of so many.
