Holly Ann McConn, 73, of Bronson passed away peacefully Thursday, January 8, 2026 at The Laurels of Coldwater.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held Tuesday, January 13, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Assumption Catholic Church in Bronson. Interment will follow the mass at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Bronson.
Visitation will be held Monday, January 12, 2026 from 4:00-7:00 p.m., with rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. at Dutcher Funeral Home in Bronson.
She was born May 22, 1952 in Sturgis, MI to William and PearlAnn (Losinski) Guzy. Holly spent her life devoted to caring for others, most notably through her work as a passionate and dedicated childcare provider. For many years she owned and operated her own daycare, where she lovingly nurtured countless children and made a lasting impact on families throughout the community.
Holly was a faithful member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Bronson and took great joy in singing with the church choir. Her love of music and worship was a meaningful part of her life. She also enjoyed staying active and social, participating in several local bowling leagues. She was an avid sports fan, especially devoted to the Detroit Tigers and NASCAR, never missing an opportunity to cheer on her favorite teams and drivers.
Above all else, Holly cherished her family. Her love, warmth, and dedication to those she held dear will be remembered always by those fortunate enough to know her. Holly Ann McConn will be deeply missed, but her caring spirit, faith, and love for family will continue to live on in the hearts of all who loved her.
Holly leaves behind her mother PearlAnn Guzy of Coldwater; her children Sherri (Brian McCauley) McElvain of Battle Creek, Brad (Brian Ball) McConn of Angola, IN, Kurt (Monica) McConn of Bronson; her siblings Renee Guzy of Sturgis, William (Julie) Guzy of Hickory Corners, MI, Joe (Lisa) Guzy of Coldwater, Rhonda (Dave) Good of Bronson; her grandchildren Michael McElvain, Madison McElvain, Alex Ball, Allyson (Damon Fowle) McConn, Zacurry Ball, Brendan McConn and her many loving nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father William Guzy.
Memorial donations may be made to the Bronson Fire Department or to St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
